Federal Campaign Regulations

Federal Election Laws and Regulations require that:

• You are a United States citizen or permanent resident alien.
• This contribution is not made from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization or national bank.
• This contribution is not made from the treasury of an entity or person who is a federal contractor.
• The funds you are donating are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

In addition, please note that:

• Federal election law requires that political committees use their best efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of the employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an election cycle.
• An individual may not contribute more than a total of $2300 per election to the committee, and no more than a total of $4600 per election cycle (primary and general elections).
• Contributions are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
• Federal law prohibits contributions to the committee from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organizations or national banks (including corporate or other business entity credit cards), from any person contributing another's funds, from a Federal government contractor, or from a foreign national who lacks permanent resident status.
