As a gunowner, sportsman and advocate for 2nd Amendment rights, I am very proud to have received an 'AQ' rating from the NRA. The 'Q' means 'qualified' and is the NRA's way of saying that I haven't cast any votes yet, but they like what they hear.

If we really want to protect 2nd Amendment rights in the future, it won't be enough to continue to rely on a one party approach. We need to send more Democrats to Congress that are strong advocates for these rights, particularly now that Dems are in the majority. Instead of relying on Republicans to repeatedly beat anti-gun members of my party over the head, wouldn't it be nice if we could get some Democrats to sit down with them and let them know how wrong they are?
